Tractor-Trailer Takes Down Wire

The police logs for Thursday, June 30, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 4:31 a.m. a caller reported a female hitchhiker on Dascomb Road. Police could not locate the female.

At 6:54 a.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.

At 7:59 a.m. a dead coyote was reported on Interstate 93 North near the Chandler Road bridge.

At 8:57 a.m. a caller reported that a tractor-trailer unit just took down a wire going from a telephone pole to his house. The tractor-trailer unit stayed on scene until police arrived.

At 12:42 p.m. a caller reported that her car was broken into last night on Andover Street. An officer found out that a passing train had actually just kicked up a rock that broke the car window.

At 5:06 p.m. police arrested Luke Boisvert, 30, of 55 Memorial Circle, on Main Street. Boisvert was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of property damage.

At 5:48 p.m. a caller reported threats through text messages on Sleepy Hollow Lane.
