'Tricks for Treats' Event at Brasserie 28 Saturday

With the nice weather expected for Saturday afternoon, you don't have to choose between going to lunch and hanging out with your dog.

Ciao! Bow Wow -- an organic pet food and supply shop in North Andover -- is teaming up with Blue Dog Academy in Andover to host "Tricks for Treats" at Brasserie 28 Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.

"Brasserie 28 has a dog-friendly patio," Ciao! Bow Wow owner Melanie LaRocca said. "They will be serving pear cider to the humans. Blue Dog Academy will have a trainer available if you want to teach your dog
a treat. Ciao! Bow Wow will have lots of treats and prizes for the pets."

You can also show up to help other pets.

"We are taking donations for our 'Paw It Forward' fund, which slips anonymous
donations to people in our community that could use a little help feeding
their pets," LaRocca said.
