Andover Couple Jailed for Harassing Rep. Lyons and Wife
A jury convicted two Andover residents of criminal harassment in connection with numerous incidents targeting State Rep. Jim Lyons and his wife.

Two Andover residents will be going to jail after being found guilty of harassing local State Rep. Jim Lyons, R-Andover, and his wife Bernadette, in Lawrence District Court yesterday afternoon.
William Johnson and Gail Jonshon, both 53, of 36 High Vale Lane, were both found guilty of criminal harassment over a period of time, said to be fueled by a land dispute.
The Johnson's employed several types of harassment against Lyons and his wife, including posting fake Craig's List ads for Lyons, encouraging people to call after 10 p.m. and just show up at the house.

William Johnson was sentenced to 2 and 1/2 years in the Middleton House of Correction and Gail Johnson will be serving 2 years. William was also found guilty for filing a falese report with DSS and was fined $1,000.
The offenses occurred between March and May of 2008.
