Woman Reports Assault on River Road

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

At 11:47 p.m. a stolen dirt bike was reported on Berkeley Lane.

At 12:15 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Florence Street.

At 3:20 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.

At 4:22 p.m. the larceny of a bicycle was reported on Summer Street.

At 2:22 p.m. police arrested Raiffi A. Castillo, 22, of 17 Forest St., Lawrence, on River Road. Castillo was charged with receiving stolen property - $250, the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, attaching wrong plates to a motor vehicle, an uninsured motor vehicle and an unregistered motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

At 8:45 a.m. a caller reported a three-car motor vehicle accident on Shawsheen Road. Injuries were reported.

At 9:48 a.m. a resident reported that his motor vehicle was broken into and his GPS was stolen on Sparta Way.

At 7:06 p.m. a staff member at a River Road business reported that a woman had approached her and claimed that a male hit her in the face for “no reason.” Police attempted to locate the individual.

At 7:29 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported a hit and run on Essex Street.
