YMCA Meeting Discusses Andover Expansion
The Merrimack Valley YMCA is holding their annual meeting Dec. 14 and will discuss a $20 million expansion project.

The Merrimack Valley YMCA is hosting its annual meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14 and inviting the community to join as it celebrates its successes over the past year, honors volunteers and discusses plans for the estimated $20 million expansion project.
With the project well underway, Merrimack Valley YMCA CEO and President Stephen Ives will provide the community with an update on the expansion project plans and highlight its evolution over the past months.

The YMCA is also pleased to announce that Olympic gold medal swimmer Sheila Taormina will be the keynote speaker at the meeting, communicating her own experiences as an athlete and expressing the YMCA’s role in helping children conquer challenges and achieve their goals.
With the expansion project incorporating an expanded aquatics facility, including a 50-meter indoor swimming pool/family recreation pool, Taormina will share the impact swimming had on her life and will also be teaching swim clinics on Monday, December 12 and Tuesday, December 13.

The meeting is being held at Merrimack College Blue Line Club ( at Volpe Athletic Center) on Dec. 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
