2 New Businesses Coming to Arlington

One is planned for Arlington Heights, the other East Arlington.

An art/paint eatery and a cake/cupcake shop are coming to Arlington.

Both new ventures are going for operating licenses Monday at the Arlington Board of Selectmen’s meeting (see agenda).

Arlington Art Lounge is planning to move into 1346 Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights, the former home of the Savory Plate, which closed last fall after about a year and a half in business. The lounge will offer a mix of painting and food, according to the Boston Restaurant Talk blog.
