2015 Arlington Town Meeting Starts Monday Night
Reps from 21 precincts convene to vote on the town's financial future on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Throughout upcoming Mondays and Wednesdays, the 252 members of Arlington Town Meeting will gather at Arlington Town Hall from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to vote on the 46 articles in the 2015 Town Meeting Warrant.
In addition to bylaws, budgets, looking into the possibility of changing rules for allowed speaking time during a municipal meeting, and updating the Human Rights Commission, these are a handful of topics Town Meeting plans to explore.....

- Voting on the possibility of changing bylaws for putting up posters for events, yard sales, lost pets and things of that nature around town.
Article 13:
- To see if the town will vote to sell the property at 1207 Mass. Ave., which currently houses a disabled veterans chapter.
Article 32:

- A vote for funds to place public art along the East Arlington Massachusetts Avenue Corridor.
Article 42:
- To see if the Town will vote to transfer money to the Cemetery Commissioners for the purposes of graveyard maintenance.
Article 46:
- Whether the town will accept, receive, or endorse the Master Plan outlined by the Arlington Redevelopment Board.
