Arlington Firefighters Raise Money to Help Local Families Fight Muscular Dystrophy

ARLINGTON, MA - The Arlington Fire Department Local #1297 “Filled the Boot” and raised $2,600 to help benefit local families who are dealing with Muscular Dystrophy in Massachusetts.

The International Association of Fire Fighters has supported MDA for more than 60 years, and firefighters in town participate every year,

The money raised will go to support the needs of the local families in the area, and also for research to help find a cure for the 43 different muscle diseases covered under the MDA banner.

“Thank you to all that took the time to donate money,” Firefighters posted on Facebook. “Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated.”
