Arlington's First Recreational Pot Shop Opening Next Week
Apothca's Mass. Ave. shop will be the area's first, as dispensaries have yet to open in nearby communities.
ARLINGTON, MA — Apothca will open the first adult-use marijuana dispensary in Arlington Thursday, Sept. 17. The shop will be located at 1386 Massachusetts Ave.
The dispensary is Apothca's second adult-use store in Massachusetts, following the opening of its location in Lynn last October. The company will also offer medical marijuana in Arlington shortly after opening.
Apothca will not only be the first adult-use retail location in Arlington, but it will also be the region's first, as dispensaries have not yet opened in Cambridge, Somerville, Lexington, Belmont and other nearby communities, according to a press release.
