Arlington's St. Camillus Parish To Host Electronics Recycling Event

The event will be held on Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's parking lot.

ARLINGTON, MA — St. Camillus Parish in Arlington will host an electronics recycling event on Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church’s parking lot.

The parish will be accepting some items that the town cannot accept, such as microwaves, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, and large appliances including stoves, washing machines and even refrigerators.

There will be a fee to recycle most items, including the following:

  • $5 each for Computers, DVD players, printers, laptops, radios, speakers, and other small electronics
  • $10 each for microwaves, small household appliances, and empty propane tanks
  • $15 each for flat screen computer monitors and range-top/large microwaves
  • $20 each for CRT computer monitors, TVs up to 24 inches, dorm sized refrigerators, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, water coolers, and arge printers
  • $25 each for TVs between 25 and 31 inches, washing machines, dryers, stoves, large appliances, grills, exercise equipment, large yard equipment, and water tanks
  • $30 each for TVs between 32 and 35 inches and Large Refrigerators
  • $35 each for TVs over 36 inches
  • $40 each for projection TVs

There will be no charge to recycle cell phones, bicycles in any condition, wires, cables, chargers, car batteries, and household batteries.
