Car Vandalized With Brown Paint In This Arlington Crime Log

The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department.

Police Log: Thursday, June 4

  • Brown Paint Poured All Over Parked Car, Florence Avenue, 4:53 p.m.

An individual reported to police that someone had apparently dumped brown paint all over the back of his parked car on the previous night.

The officer observed the color of the paint was similar to a tone recently used to paint the resident’s cellar door, however the resident said he had completed that painting project some time ago and the matching colors were merely coincidental.

He told police he had no enemies that he knew of who would specifically target him for vandalism.

Bikes Stolen, Broadway, 7:38 p.m.

A black, men’s Breezer, model Uptown 8, valued at $800.00, and a girl’s bicycle, light blue with white wheels and tires, unknown make/model, valued at $300.00, were reported missing and likely stolen from a Broadway residence.

The reporting party said the bikes were last seen on May 31, and he put off telling police in hopes they would turn up.
