JRM will continue to prioritize the collection of trash and recycling. As you are able, please keep trees off the curb until your collection day next week, which will be on a holiday collection schedule. Trees left on the curb are more likely to blow around our streets and public ways, as well as become a hazard if we have a snow event that requires plowing.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and ask for your continued patience as we navigate the health and safety constraints around us.

Be sure your tree is prepared correctly at the curb:

  • No stand or decorations
  • No plastic bag
  • Must not be frozen to the ground or covered in snow
  • No yard waste
  • No decorative greenery (these should go in the trash is it has wire and plastic/paint, or can be included as yard waste next spring if all of the non-organic material is removed
