COVID-19 Testing Pilot Begins In Arlington

The town has partnered with Armstrong Ambulance to offer drive-thru testing at the Ed Burns Arena.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Department of Health and Human Services partnered with Armstrong Ambulance to offer a COVID-19 testing pilot program Tuesday, Dec. 8 through Thursday, Dec. 10 in Arlington. Drive-thru testing will be offered in the Ed Burns Arena parking lot 9-11 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Testing is open to Arlington residents, as well as those who work or attend school in town.

Tests are $90 per person and require preregistration. Participants do not need to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive.

PCR tests will be given. Results should be received within 24 hours. More information regarding results and how individuals will be contacted will be given or sent to those registered. There are no age restrictions for individuals looking to be tested.
