Balan, Pierre G., of Arlington. April 17, 2015. Loving partner of 37 years to Marlene Metellus. Father of Gerard Balan Jr. of Minnesota, Naureen Balan of Arlington, and Yolette Balan of Arlington. Step-father of Joan Simon of California.

Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Pierre has made the United States his home for over four decades. Throughout his life, he touched family, friends, and loved ones with his generosity, humor, and compassion. A successful electrician and cab driver, he shared that success with his peers, lived by example, and epitomized the American dream.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) Arlington on Saturday at 9 am. Funeral mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Arlington at 10 am.
