Parking at Robbins Library Will be Impacted by Construction Project
The slate roof will be replaced over the summer, and parking will be affected.

Parking may be at a premium at the Robbins Library this summer during a roofing project.
The 120 year old slate roof on Arlington's library will be replaced. A small part of the project ran from June 3 to June 7, but the majority of the work begins on July 1, according to an announcement from the library.
Operations inside the library will not be affected by the project, however some parking spots will not be accessible from July 1 through September, according to the announcement.

“As our patrons already know, parking is difficult to find under normal circumstances at the Robbins Library and it will be even more difficult to find parking during this project," said Director of Libraries Ryan Livergood. "We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this might cause. On the bright side, the weather is getting nice outside and we encourage patrons to walk, bike, or use public transportation to get to the library while the project is taking place.”
