Attleboro Events Set for Day and Night This Fourth of July

The City of Attleboro isn't holding back this Fourth of July.

The fun begins at 9:30 a.m. with Kids 4th FUn at Poncin-Hewitt Complex. Events include family oriented games, activities, food, music and prizes. A bike parade will commence at 10:15 a.m. Other races and events include: baby-crawl race, three-legged race, wheel-barrel race, peanut-on-a-spoon race, potato-sack race, Sponge Bob race, and watermelon roll.

The fun will continue later in the day at Hayward Field, including DJ Nate Adams, army vehicles for kids, and live music. Vendors will include Del's lemonade, palagi ice cream, kettle corn, concessions unlimited, candy plus-balloons and novelties, and Dunkin' Donuts big fish.

The formal nighttime festivities will begin at 8 p.m. and fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
