The following is an edited release from BJ's: On Saturday, BJ's Wholesale Club celebrated the opening of its newest location in Seekonk. Local dignitaries, charitable organizations and school representatives were on hand to welcome BJ's to the community. During the grand opening celebration, BJ's presented a shopping cart filled with donations for ﻿ in Seekonk and in East Providence. The cart included school supplies, gift card to BJ's and a $500 check.   BJ's also presented Janine Achin, executive director of the ﻿ with a check for $2,500 to support the "Out of School Time" programming. In addition, Diane Smith, director of , received a check for $2,500 to support the health clinic.
