PawSox Governor's Cup on Display

A Championship year for the Pawtucket Red Sox! We're so excited and proud. Avid PawSox fans are thrilled about a
"trophy tour," and you can actually see the 2012 Governor's Cup in person at Seekonk Public Library.

We all know the Paw Sox accomplished the wonderful goal of rewarding their fans, who waited 28 years to see the team win another Governor's Cup. And, this time, representatives from the team are taking it
to as many cities and towns throughout Southern New England as possible this off-season.  The trophy is not only for the team, but also for the vast numbers of children and families who were lucky enough to attend one or more games in the summer or who caught a game on Cox Cable!

The Governor's Cup will be on display at the main library, which is one floor with a generous parking lot. Seekonk
Public Library is centrally located, and is only 4 miles from Pawtucket and McCoy Stadium, home of the PawSox.

Display of the Governor's Cup coincides with the library's Family Night in October, which features a Halloween-themed puppet show for children and their families.
