Investigation Ongoing in Attleboro Child Porn Case
An Attleboro man was arrested Friday for possessing child pornography.

A 51-year-old Attleboro man was arrested last week in what could prove to be a massive child pornography bust.
Attleboro Police Det. Sgt. Arthur Brillon said Michael Patterson, 51, of 115 County St. was arrested Friday on one count of possessing child pornography. The investigation is ongoing and Attleboro Police are speaking with federal authorities about the matter.
Brillon said a forensics investigation still needs to be conducted, which could lead to more charges.
According to WPRI, Patterson pleaded "Not Guilty" at his court appearance Monday and he is currently held on $100,000 bail.
Brillon said police obtained search warrants after a concerned citizen came forward to police. Det. Matt Cook was in charge of the investigation, Brillon said.
According to Brillon, Police obtained computers from the home after pornographic images were found on Patterson's computer screen upon police entering.
The Sun Chronicle reported that Patterson is the manager of a Sober House on County St. owned by North Cottage Program of Norton.
