Next Court Appearance Set For Attleboro Teen Accused of Attempted Murder

Brandon Bonin, 15, of Attleboro is accused of trying to kill his neighbor.

Attleboro's Brandon Bonin's next court appearance will be August 13, according to WPRI.

Bonin, 15, made headlines in March when he was accused of attempting to kill his neighbor.

According to police reports, Bonin attacked his neighbor - a woman older than 60 - with a knife, then drove her to a pond near the Seekonk line where he attempted to drown her.  Next, Bonin drove the woman to a third location where he tried to clog the vehicle's tailpipe with an article of clothing in an attempt to asphyxiate the woman while she was in the car, police say.

He is being tried as an adult for home invasion, kidnapping and attempted murder.
