Seekonk Police Log: False Names, OUI, Larceny

Twelve arrests are reported from July 23-29.

The  reported the following recent arrests (an arrest does not indicate a conviction):

July 23

  • *5:41 p.m. Richard Anthony Lavery, 23, of East Providence and Cote Ray Zafiriades, 17, of Warren were arrested at 426 Olney St. following a traffic stop. Both were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class D drug and conspiracy to violate a drug law. Lavery was also accused of operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment.

  • 1:38 a.m. Casey Downs, 20, of Rehoboth was arrested at 840 Taunton Ave. on suspicion of OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She was also accused of a marked lanes violation.
  • 11:10 p.m. Carrieann Teresa Drainville, 36, of Riverside was arrested after a traffic stop at the  on Fall River Avenue. She was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under a false name and address.

July 25

  • 12:24 p.m. Kevin Rene Arroyo, 24, of Providence was arrested on Jane Howland Drive on a warrant.

  • 2:02 p.m. Raymond Francis Paiva III, 37, of Bristol and Roy McMahon, 47, of Warren were arrested at on Commerce Way following a report to the police of shoplifting. Paiva was arrested on three warrants. McMahon was arrested on suspicion of Class A drug possession.

July 27

  • 8:25 a.m. Marissa Nicole Wynott, 28, of Norton was arrested outside on a warrant. Police were called to the scene following a report of a suspicious person sleeping in a car.

July 28

  • 12:21 a.m. Eric Butler, 23, of Providence was arrested following a traffic stop at  on Highland Avenue. He was arrested on suspicion of unlicensed operation of an unregistered motor vehicle and refusal to identify himself.
  • 12:26 p.m. Michael Dean Felici, 43, of Taunton was arrested at the on suspicion of shoplifting and larceny by false pretense.

July 28

  • 2:06 p.m. Mariamadalena D. Gomes, 45, of Seekonk was arrested at the Ramada Inn on Fall River Avenue following a call to police about larceny of jewelry. She was arrested on suspicion of two counts of larceny over $250.

July 29

  • 1:04 a.m. Michael James Kelley, 30, of Attleboro was arrested outside Benny's on Taunton Avenue on suspicion of OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
