'Sustainable Living' at Attleboro Public Library
A look at what is happening around Attleboro

1. 'Sustainable Living, One Old House at a Time' at Attleboro Public Library
Wednesday at 7 p.m., An interactive presentation by a former Home Economics teacher and architect's wife on selecting and rehabbing an early 60's ranch house with an eye to environmental and economic sustainability and " ageing -in-place". Come to hear about selecting a location and orientation for a new or existing house, and working to conserve energy as well as generating much of what is needed from the sun! Some time will also be devoted to lifestyle changes to save resources and promote self-sufficiency. Plenty of time will be allowed for questions.
