What Is There Too Much Of In Attleboro?

ATTLEBORO, MA - Moderation is key. As Patch editors, we often hear back from readers regarding which businesses they would like to see come to Attleboro. We also receive complaints about what there is too much of in your town- whether it be traffic, businesses, or crime-related.

So we asked our readers on Facebook, “What is there too much of (or not enough of) in Attleboro?”

• “Not enough home owners with veggie gardens.”

• “Too many triple deckers/apartments. Not enough bakeries!”

• “Too many hairdresses nail salons and asian food! How about a bakery, deli, arcade , all ages pool hall. Some clothes stores or resell shops! Icecream! The theater back!”

• “Not enough parking preventing people from thinking about shopping downtown. To much speeding traffic especially coming down 152 where north and south come into town. Route 152 north is a race track around 6 - 7 a.m. as people go toward the train station.”

• “Needs more life in the center. In the Winter, I would LOVE to see Santa’s house BACK in the center like it used to be.”
