Researcher/Writer

Our busy consulting office seeks an individual with strong expository and opinion writing skills and a progressive outlook on occupational health and medicine. An extensive science or health background is not required, but all candidates must be comfortable researching and writing on health and medical issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an adaptive personality. and demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects. Experience in history, environmental studies, medicine, health, and/or corporate accountability is helpful. Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience required. Job duties include: • working independently and as part of a team to complete research • writing long and short pieces on the public health impacts and implications of various corporate actions for publication in leading environmental and occupational health journals and other venues • preparing and assisting in the presentation of these materials in nationwide, generally in cases where victims are suing corporations for causing their illnesses. All candidates MUST be able and willing to travel frequently and work some weekends.

Loader/Unloader

This person in this position will unload the dirty garments off of the trucks and separate for washing at the beginning of the production process. At the end of the production process, the person in this position is accountable for ensuring the correct orders are loaded on the appropriate trucks for the route delivery drivers.

Manufacturing Buyer/Planner

Reporting to the Precision Products operations manager the Manufacturing Buyer/Planner will be responsible for procuring materials, components, equipment, and services based upon the Oracle planners workbench.  Checks requisitions, obtains quotations, examines bids, and make awards.  Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.  As required, monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.  May evaluate vendor reliability.  Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
