Boston Common Frog Pond Opens Saturday, November 30th

Annual Skating Spectacular will take place on December 31st

The Boston Common Frog Pond, managed by The Skating Club of Boston in partnership with The City of Boston, will open for the winter season for ice skating on Saturday, November 30th at 10:00 am.

Consistently rated one of the top places for ice skating in the county, the Boston Common Frog Pond is located in the oldest park in the U.S. and is one of the most popular “things to do” in Boston during the winter.

The Boston Common Frog Pond will be open daily at 10 am and in addition to recreational skating, the rink will also host skating lessons provided by The Skating Club of Boston’s The Skating Academy for those looking to get started on the ice or perfect their skills.

The Skating Club of Boston will also host their annual Skating Spectacular on Tuesday, December 31st with two shows at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm as part of the First Night festivities in Boston.
