1. Local artists can now showcase their work at the , in a new, four-month rotating exhibit opening on Friday. In partnership with Art New England, the Art Everywhere Gallery is free to the public, during the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first installation of artists include: oil painter, Marian Dioguardi of the South End and Jacob Higginbottom, watercolor & mixed media artist of Boston.
2 Boston Children's Museum also has art on the brain. In celebration of Black History Month, this weekend they've got a whole range of live jazz, performances and workshops. From Miles Davis to special family workshop to see and hear how opera uses artwork and music to tell stories, the kid-friendly programs are sure to entertain.
