Fred Perry to Open Third US Store on Newbury
The British apparel shop blends sportswear with streetwear, and opens May 24. Don't miss their 50's Americana-inspired Summer Amy Winehouse Collection.
Fred Perry, a British heritage brand that blends sportswear with streetwear for iconic styles, is opening it's third US store in Back Bay.
With shops in 50 countries across the globe, and two in New York, the store hosts its grand opening at 301 Newbury St. on May 24.
The brand is well-known for its original cotten pique shirt synonoymous with underground fashion and British cool. They've collaborated with a handful of artists and designers including Raf Simons, Richard Nicoll, Emma Cook and Amy Winehouse.

The store launches with the Men’s Authentic Summer Collection, the Women’s Authentic Summer Collection, the Kidswear Spring/Summer Collection, and the 50’s Americana-inspired Summer Amy Winehouse Collection. (This was the last collaboration that Winehouse worked on and showcases exclusive printed dresses and shirts referencing her love of vintage and art deco.)
