Free Yoga at the Frog Pond

Here are five things you need to know about for July 17.

1. Serious Heat: The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day with a high of 97. The evening will cool off to 77. Stay hydrated out there!

2. Free Yoga at the Frog Pond: As the day (hopefully)  cools off, come relax and stretch out the stress of the workday at The Frog Pond at a free yoga class from 6 to 7 p.m. It is recommended that you bring your own mat and blocks.

3. Senator Will Brownsberger Office Hours: will host office hours from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Starbucks at 755 Boylston St, Boston, MA, between Fairfield and Exeter Street. All are welcome to come discuss issues on any topic of concern.

4. “One World”: This summer program brings arts and culture to the children of Boston. There is an arts and crafts fair, live performances and free admission to the Mapparium! This event is free for children ages 10 and under. It is being hosted at The Mary Baker Eddy Library, 200 Massachusetts Ave from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

5. Elma Lewis Playhouse Free Concert with OrigiNation: Come join the Roxbury children’s dance studio as they celebrate the musical traditions from Africa, the Caribbean and Harlem at the Franklin Park Playstead (Between White Stadium and the Franklin Park Zoo, 1 Columbia Road Entrance at 11 a.m. This is a free event for all ages.
