Sisters and co-owners Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis, stars of TLC's DC Cupcakes, plan on celebrating with a private opening celebration party that Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. With two locations in Washington D.C., this is the first Boston location and there's another shop in New York scheduled to open in the winter. The cupcakes sell for $2.75 each, and come in flavors like red velvet, chocolate ganache and bubblegum pink, as well as season specials - including white chocolate peppermint, gingerbread, cinnamon spice, and many more for the month of December.
