Laffa, New Vegetarian Restaurant Opens on St. James
The IIsraeli-influenced restaurants offers items like falafels, and hopes to start a takeout service soon.
Laffa, an new Israeli-influenced vegetarian restaurant at 31 St. James Ave., is open for business.
Serving up items like falafels, the restaurant features eat-in bar stools, but was before the Neighborhood Association of Back Bay’s licensing and building use committee last week with a request to start doing takeout.
The neighborhood voted not to oppose the plan, and Laffa will go before the city’s licensing board on Wednesday. It’s currently up and running, but is still catching up on zoning requirements.
