The Boston Public Library will switch over to summer hours on May 20, meaning the central library will no longer be open on Sundays until the fall. The regular hours will soon be: <ul> <li>Mon - Thu; 9am - 9pm</li> <li>Fri and Sat; 9am - 5pm</li> </ul> There's also updated hours for certain departments:  Special Collections, Fine Arts, Prints, Music, and Rare Books and Manuscripts <ul> <li>Mon - Fri; 9am - 5pm</li> </ul> The Sargent Gallery, Cheverus Room, and Wiggin Gallery <ul> <li>Mon, Wed; Fri, 9am - 5pm</li> <li>Tue, Thu; 9am - 7pm </li> </ul> Saturday service at all Boston Public Library branches will also stop after June 9 but then return in the fall.
