Lululemon Buys Newbury Location for $7.5M

, which , has now purchased that building for $7.5 million. 

But they're not saying what they have planned.

“While we are excited to build more long-term roots in the downtown Boston community through our newer Newbury Street location and existing Prudential Center store, we can’t comment on our overall real estate strategy at this time,” spokeswoman Amanda Casgar said in a statement to the Boston Herald.

The Canda-based company known for selling high-end athletic clothing, espeically when it comes to yoga wear, opened March 16 on Newbury. They also have a location in the Prudential Center that opened in 2008. 

With a community approach ot marketing and a committment to keeping things local, the store will host events, offers a running club, and works with neighborhood gyms and fitness centers in the Back Bay to promote a healthy lifestyle.
