Dozens Show They're 'Boston Strong' in Copley
Despite overcast skies, several dozen people donned their "Boston Strong" t-shirts Tuesday in Copley Square after the shirt designers dropped off a check for nearly $900,000 with the One Fund Boston.
Emerson College students Nicholas Reynolds and Chris Dobens came up with the idea for the shirts hours after the Boston Marathon bombings April 15. They couldn't have imagined the outpouring of support they've seen over nearly two months.

Police: Man Charged with Punching Woman Over Money
A man was charged with striking a woman after she refused to give him money. Police said they arrested Juan Espinosa of 1171 Boylston St. and charged him with assault and battery.
Boston Police responded to a report of an assault and battery in progress on Boylston Street about 1:17 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the man asked the woman for money and she refused.
Back Bay Parking Spots Auctioned For Astronomical Price
The Boston Globe reported an IRS auction of two Back Bay parking spots Thursday resulted in the tandem spaces going to a local woman for a cool $560,000.
Lisa Blumenthal won the bidding for the spots behind 298 Commonwealth Ave., which were seized by the IRS from a man who owed $600,000 in back taxes and who bought the spaces for $50,000 20 years ago.
