Winston Flowers Named Best Florist

was the winner of this week's Readers' Choice Best of Patch poll.

The florist on 131 Newbury Street is a staple in the neighborhood, and wonthe suppor to of 75 percent of our voters. They ship arrangements all over the world and also sell flowers online, but it's worth it to stop by and witness the beauty of this flower shop in person.

Winston also features a monthly Charity in Bloom program, featuring floral arrangements designed specifically for a local organization, where 20 percent of sales go to that organization.

This month's recipient is Rosie's Place, a nonprofit that helps better the lives of poor and homeless women in Boston. The arrangement features antique pink and lavender roses, with twining ivy in a leaf-lined brandy vase.
