1 Shot On Cape Cod, Injuries Not Life Threatening
The Yarmouth man was found by a passerby on the street and taken to a nearby hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
YARMOUTH, MA — A man was shot in Yarmouth over the weekend, but doesn't appear to have significant injuries, police said.
On Sunday, around 11:45 p.m., Yarmouth Police dispatchers received a 911 call for a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. The reporting party observed the victim on Willow Street in West Yarmouth and pulled his vehicle over to help, officials said.
Officers responded and provided care until Yarmouth rescue personnel arrived on the scene. The man was then transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
