Barnstable 4-H Sewing Program For Kids
Parents interested in having their kids learn sewing skills can take advantage of these classes.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable parents have a great chance for their kids to learn a useful skill. The "Sew Many Choices" classes, held at the Barnstable Adult Community Center, are for kids in grades four to eight.
Beginners will learn to use sewing machines and make simple projects with provided materials.
Students who already know how to use a sewing machine can choose a project and provide their own materials.

Sewing machines will be available, but students are encouraged to bring sewing machines if possible.
Classes will be on Feb. 12, March 11 and April 1, all from noon to 4 p.m. The cost is $25 per class.

Students coming directly from school should bring a bagged lunch to eat before class begins, and others should eat before arriving. Lunches and machines can be left at the community center earlier in the day if possible.

Then, complete the registration form in the Facebook post below and mail it with a check, payable to Barnstable County, to Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, P.O. Box 367, Barnstable, MA 02630, attention Dawn Johnson. Mail the check and registration form at least one week prior to class.
