Barnstable High School Football Opening Night, Schedule 2023

BARNSTABLE, MA — The first week of school marks the hard end of summer vacation, but the new school year doesn't really round into form until the first kickoff on a Friday night.

That day will come tomorrow for the Barnstable High School football team, who will play an away game at Brockton on Friday. Barnstable will play their first home game in Week 3 against Bridgewater-Raynham at 6 p.m.

Barnstable's annual Thanksgiving Day matchup returns again for 2023 with kickoff scheduled for 10 a.m.

Here's the full 2023 schedule for the Barnstable High School football team:

• Sept. 8 at Brockton, 7 p.m.
• Sept. 15 at New Bedford, 7 p.m.
• Sept. 22 vs Bridgewater-Raynham, 6 p.m.
• Sept. 29 vs. Dennis-Yarmouth, 6 p.m.
• Oct. 6 at Nauset, 6 p.m.
• Oct. 13 at Marshfield, 6:30 p.m.
• Oct. 20 vs. Newton North, 6 p.m.
• Oct. 27 vs. Old Rochester, 6 p.m.
• Thanksgiving Day at Falmouth, 10 a.m.
