Barnstable Mansion Is The Most Expensive Home Ever Sold On Cape Cod

BARNSTABLE, MA — A new record was just set in the Barnstable County home market.

Sitting on the property at 835 Sea View Ave. is a 15,500 sq. ft. home with amenities that could make royals blush and views that would make any fan of the New England coastline drool. It also just became the most expensive home ever sold on Cape Cod at $22.75 million.

The property has seven bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, nearly 300 feet of beach on the Nantucket Sound, a swimming pool and, just to top it off, a wine cellar with the capability to fit 5,000 bottles.

A golf simulator, massage room and gym are also present for the more actively-inclined, and an elevator makes getting around the home easier.

News of the sale was first shared by the Boston Globe, which reported that the final cost topped the previous record of $20 million from a 2020 sale.
