Barnstable Route 28 East Sewer Expansion Continues

News release from Town of Barnstable.

HYANNIS, MA — Starting on Monday, August 19, 2024, the Town of Barnstable’s contractor will commence paving on Phinney’s Lane. Construction activity will occur daily, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, weather permitting, and is anticipated to take the full week to complete. As a result, Phinney’s Lane, from Strawberry Hill Road to Wequaquet Lane, will be closed to safely complete this work, as shown in the accompanying figure.

Local resident and emergency access will be maintained throughout construction, with traffic control onsite to assist motorists. As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety, detour signs, and onsite traffic control.
