Barnstable Transfer Station To Close Next Week: Here's Why

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Town of Barnstable Transfer Station and Recycling Center, located at 45 Flint Street, Marstons Mills, will be temporarily closed on Dec. 17 due to scheduled infrastructure upgrades that require a full power shutdown at the facility.
The work includes significant electrical system improvements that cannot be completed while the facility is energized or open to the public.

Permit holders are encouraged to plan accordingly. Trash and recycling services will resume on a normal schedule on Thursday.
