Bus Carrying 25 Cape Cod Students Hits Utility Pole

The 25 students and the bus driver were unharmed during the accident, officials said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

MARSTONS MILLS, MA — No one was injured when a bus carrying 25 area students struck a utility pole on Cape Cod this week, officials said.

The Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills fire Department responded to the intersections of Ebenezer Road and Lumbert Mill Road on Thursday morning around 8 a.m. after a school bus struck a utility pole.

The bus sustained damage and the pole was knocked down, but the driver and all 25 students were unharmed, officials said.

A replacement bus was brought to the scene and the students were taken to Barnstable United Elementary School.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
