Cape Cod Bus, Car Crash Sends 1 To Hospital
The crash in Orleans earlier this week shut down a portion of Route 6A for a period.
ORLEANS, MA — A crash between a car and a Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus shut down part of Route 6A on Cape Cod earlier this week.
Around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Orleans police responded to a crash on Route 6A in the area of Gill's Automotive.
One passenger from the bus was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries and all three passengers from the SUV were evaluated and declined transport to the hospital, officials said.

It appeared the crash occurred when the SUV attempted to make a left turn in front of the bus. Route 6A was closed between Skaket Corners and Brewster Cross Road while the crash was investigated and the vehicle and passengers were removed.
