UPDATE: Cape Cod Community College Commencement Moved To Friday

More than 400 students will graduate during the ceremony this week. Here's what to know.

Update: Due to weather, Cape Cod Community College will host its commencement on Friday at the Cape Cod Melody Tent.

The start dates for all ceremonies remains the same.

HYANNIS, MA — More than 400 students are set to graduate from Cape Cod Community College this week.

Cape Cod Community College will celebrate its 63rd Commencement ceremony, recognizing the achievements of the 2025 graduates The ceremony will take place at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis where graduates will be officially awarded their Associate Degrees and professional certificates.

Headlining the event as Commencement Speaker will be Lisa Oliver, President and CEO of the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. The event will also feature remarks from 4Cs President John Cox and the college's 2025 student speaker, Dental Hygiene graduate and Veteran Zainab Abd Alkaby.

The college will also recognize two people as alumni of the year in Tara Vargas Wallace ’99 and Rise Oliveira-Ramos ’18.

The “Excellence in Teaching” award, which goes to a faculty member for their work in the classroom, will also be handed out.
