PROVINCETOWN, MA — Four people got back to Provincetown safely Tuesday after their fishing boat sank a couple miles off the coast, according to the US Coast Guard.

The 34-foot Angela & Mary was equipped with a life raft, which the crew was able to board after sending out a mayday. They were later rescued by a Good Samaritan who took them back to land.

No injuries were reported, but the cause of the sinking is still under investigation, a spokeswoman for the Coast Guard said.
