Cape Cod's Bass River Bridge Closed For Construction
The latest round of the bridge construction should last about one week, officials said.

YARMOUTH, MA — The Bass River Bridge on Cape Cod is undergoing another round of construction this week.
Construction crews started Monday on the Route 28, Old Main Street and North Main Street intersection. This project is expected to last about one week.
Traffic will be detoured around the work zone and businesses in the area will remain open, Yarmouth Police Department said.

Passenger vehicles travelling West on Route 28, over the Bass River Bridge, will be able to detour to Bellevue Avenue or Pleasant Street. These roads are not suitable for large vehicles, however.
All commercial traffic traveling West on Route 28 through Dennis should use Route 134 to detour to Highbank Road or Route 6, police said.
