Cape Community College Appoints Boston Beer Co. Manager As Trustee
Joe McGrail, a graduate of Cape Cod Community College, was reappointed to the Board of Trustees. This will be his second five-year term.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Governor Maura Healey has reappointed Joe McGrail, Manager of eCommerce for the Boston Beer Company, to the Cape Cod Community College Board of Trustees. A 1999 graduate of the College and a Duxbury resident, McGrail will begin his second five-year term elected by the alumni of the College and appointed by Governor Healey.
“Joe has been an extremely valuable member of our Board, serving our community for the past five years, and we are so pleased that he has been re-elected by our alumni and reappointed for another term,” said John Cox, President of Cape Cod Community College. “As an alum of 4Cs, Joe brings a unique perspective on what it means to work towards student success. We’re excited to continue to have his leadership and voice at the table.”

McGrail studied business at Cape Cod Community College before transferring to UMass-Amherst to complete his bachelor’s degree. In his role at the Boston Beer Company, he oversees the strategies that bring products like Sam Adams beer to customers via delivery or in-store pick-up.
“Throughout my educational and professional career, I’ve always been able to trace any successes back to my time at 4Cs,” McGrail said. “It has been an absolute pleasure serving on the Board of Trustees, and I’m excited to keep our momentum going. The College is doing great things and I’m excited to see us continue to push into the future, delivering excellent educational opportunities for students.”

The Cape Cod Community College Board of Trustees is responsible for long-range planning, financial oversight, and the organizational structure of the institution in meeting the needs of our community. Trustees are appointed by the Governor.
