Centerville Road Closed For Repairs
The damage came from a fallen tree and will take the day to repair, officials said. Here's what to know.
BARNSTABLE, MA — A section of Main Street in Centerville is closed today for tree work and sidewalk repairs, officials said.
The section of Main Street from Old Stage Road to Mother’s Park Road will be closed to facilitate the removal of a recently fallen tree and repairs to the sidewalk it damaged.
Work will began at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed the same day.

Businesses and residences will remain open and accessible throughout construction.
Posted detours will be in place, along with traffic control personnel to assist in directing motorists, officials said.
