Here are five things you need to know Tuesday, Dec. 17.
1. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70 percent chance of snow in Barnstable, Tuesday. Snow totals will be less than an inch.
2. The Cotuit Library will host a holiday sing-along at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
3. Veritas Academy will present a Christmas program called "Lessons and Carols" at Christ Chapel, 1200 Old Stage Road, Centerville, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
4. A hearing of the Barnstable Conservation Commission will take place at 6:30 on Tuesday evening.
5. The Joint Public Works Commission and Water Pollution Control Board will meet at 1 p.m., Tuesday.
