El Barco Opens Boston Pop-Up After Success On Martha's Vineyard
El Barco at Summer Shack will be open through the summer on Boston's Dalton Street.

BOSTON, MA — A new option for Mexican food has landed in Boston, but it — possibly — won't be there for long.
El Barco, which opened on Martha's Vineyard in 2024, is open at the Back Bay Summer Shack location as a pop-up starting this week through the summer.
“After a fantastic summer on the Vineyard, we’re excited to bring El Barco to Boston and share the flavors we love with a new audience,” said Vinny Lombardi, Senior Vice President of Operations for Lyons Group, the team behind El Barco. “This is more than a pop-up—it’s a culinary experience that brings the energy of a beachside cantina to the Back Bay.”
