Harbor Community Health Center Opens New Hyannis Location

The Harbor Community Health Center has a new location,  735 Attucks Lane. The center had some fun with the harbor name at a grand opening last month, donning sailor hats and posing with oars.

The move from its  30 Elm Avenue facility allowed Harbor Community Health Center to double its resources for providing medical and health services to Cape Cod residents. The facility offers medical, dental and social services to a range of patients including, ow-income communities, new immigrants and marginally-insured patients and individuals who are self-employed or under-insured.

The new health center cost around $7.4 million, with about 60 percent federally funds
